With over 20 years of professional experience, Valerie Carricato is a dynamic and versatile drummer based in Colorado, known for her ability to command the stage and bring groove, power, and finesse to any musical setting. She has performed with a wide variety of artists and ensembles across the region, including the Sandy Wells Band, Fire Line, Mark Powell, Jason Lee Band, Peak Big Band, and the Pikes Peak Philharmonic.
Valerie’s stylistic fluency spans jazz, rock, country, funk, fusion, punk, ska, and classic rock — making her equally at home in a concert hall, a honky-tonk, or a punk dive. Whether delivering subtle brushwork in a jazz trio or locking in a powerful backbeat on a festival stage, her musical sensitivity and rhythmic command elevate every performance.
